Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

CCF Makati Sports ("we," "us," or "our") runs a weekly basketball and pickleball community in Makati. We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have.

Who is responsible for your data

The Personal Information Controller is CCF Makati Sports. For any privacy concern or to exercise your rights, contact our Data Protection Officer:

What we collect

Why we collect it

Our legal bases are your consent and the necessity of processing to deliver the activity you signed up for. You may withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We use trusted service providers to run the app, who process data on our behalf:

These providers may store data on servers outside the Philippines. We only share what is necessary for them to provide their service.

Members under 18

If you are under 18, you may only register with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, whose name and contact we collect for that purpose. A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to review, correct, or delete their child's data, or to withdraw consent. We always act in the best interest of the child.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you are part of the community and for up to 12 months after you leave or request deletion, unless a longer period is required by law. When you ask us to delete your account, we permanently remove your profile, photos, and related records.

How we protect it

Sign-in PINs are stored as one-way encrypted hashes. Access to the full member roster is restricted to authorized organizers, and the database is locked down so personal details cannot be read by the public. We apply reasonable organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to a community of our size.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, to data portability, and to erasure. You can view and edit your profile, or delete your account, directly in the app — or contact our DPO above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version. Significant changes will be communicated to members.
